Zeug Lab / Consulting & implementation

AI consulting for
small businesses.

Put AI to work on the tasks your team repeats. We help you choose a useful starting point, connect the tools you already use, and build something your team can run.

01 / Where to start

Find the work that keeps coming back.

For service businesses, professional firms and small teams, the useful opportunities often sit between existing tools: a customer request, a spreadsheet, an inbox and someone who knows what to do next.

A

Requests and follow-ups

Capture a request, gather the missing details and prepare the next action for someone to approve.

B

Answers from your own information

Help your team find relevant material in project documents and business records, with source context and access boundaries.

C

Reports and operational data

Bring information from separate systems into a view your team can use, and reduce the copying that happens before every report.

D

An assistant for a specific job

Connect a custom AI assistant or chatbot to a defined workflow, with clear limits on what it can read and change.

02 / How we work

From the first conversation
to a working handover.

01

Learn the workflow

We map the current steps, exceptions, data and people involved. Together we choose a baseline for time, cost or quality.

02

Agree the first project

We define the deliverables, budget, success checks and approval boundaries before building. If a simpler software change makes more sense, that belongs in the discussion.

03

Build and test

We connect the required tools and test normal cases, missing information and failures. Your team tries the implementation before it becomes part of daily work.

04

Hand over and operate

You get an operating guide, a walkthrough and a breakdown of recurring costs. We agree who handles monitoring, changes and support.

03 / What you receive

A defined scope.
Software your team can use.

The implementation

  • A map of the chosen workflow and its dependencies
  • Working integrations, automation or a custom application
  • Checks for expected behavior and failure cases
  • Human approval where actions need review

The handover

  • Documentation for day-to-day use and troubleshooting
  • A walkthrough with the people who will use it
  • Visibility into model, hosting and third-party costs
  • Agreed responsibilities for access, upkeep and support
04 / Work you can inspect

Built around business operations.

Our public work includes Try Day Club’s rental business platform and ClawPanel, our workspace for people and connected AI agents. The demo library lets you explore example workflows using synthetic data.

Led by Alex Sidarau, with experience across data engineering, analytics, consulting and business operations.

05 / Common questions

Before we build.

How much does an AI consulting project cost?

Scope and pricing depend on the workflow, integrations, access requirements and testing involved. We discuss those first, then agree a project budget and explain the recurring costs separately.

Do we need to replace our current tools?

We start by looking at what you already use. Where the tools support suitable integrations, we can connect them. We will flag limits or replacement needs during scoping.

Can you build it, or do you only advise?

We work from discovery through implementation, testing and handover. The first project can be an automation, a data workflow, a custom assistant or an application, depending on the problem.

What happens to our business data?

We map the data and permissions needed for the project before connecting systems. The scope should identify where information goes, which providers process it and which actions require approval. Please keep sensitive information out of the initial intake form.

How long does a project take?

The timeline depends on access, data readiness, integrations and scope. We agree milestones after discovery, and choose a first workflow small enough to test with your team before extending it.

What if AI is not the right solution?

We assess the workflow before choosing the technology. A conventional integration, a clearer process or a small software change may be the better starting point.

Start with the work

Bring one workflow.
We’ll find the next step.

Show us where your team spends time, where information gets lost, or where a customer has to wait. We’ll discuss the problem, the tools you use and what a useful first project could look like.
